I rarely post things about my "beliefs" in order to avoid the troll fanction. But I do speak to those who ask, in person only. And in private, generally. (CAUTE)
I sometimes feel, that in many eras, and certainly in many parts of the world today, what was written about the dangers of Spinoza's thinking might apply: "...the impact of his ideas might have on those who had nothing but faith to maintain the balance of their lives.
There's a lot of that to go around.
A heretic in any religion. I fear that is me.

Another batch of Aspie tests.
So, out of curiosity, I took a batch of on-line tests - don't remember what the site was - and I guess I'm not any different. I did NOT keep a record of previous "versions", but this was interesting.
AQ - 37/50
EQ - 18/80
FQ - 37/135
SQ - 67/80 (version 1)
SQ - 133/150 (version 2)
So, on that basis, I guess Aspiedom is my domain.
In fact, a couple of those scores were not on-the-grid at all for Aspie rating. Whatever that means.

Fond of Quotes I am.
Actually, I have an intense admiration for those who write well. This coincidentally includes all 4 of my children (shouldn't really call them that - they're all old-enough-to-not-quite-fit that nomenclature).
Sometimes, when I'm reading, it seems that the author exactly captures what I happen to be thinking, only far better and more succinctly than I could. So now and again, I may post some goodies. For this one:
He who loves God must not expect God to love him in return.
- Goethe
God's only excuse is that he does not exist.
- Stendhal ( I find this one immensely funny.)
Human beings are mere occasions of subjective individuality in a largely mysterious universe.
- Damasio
